The Green Frogs are situated in the Conservatory with an age range of 2 ½ yrs to 3 ½ yrs depending on individual development and emotional well being.
In the Green Frogs we encourage positive behaviour which helps to develop social skills, sharing and cooperation. Children are encouraged to help with the planning of activities and the layout of their room.
The Key Person is responsible for helping them to develop their own independence. Simple tasks such as putting on their own coat and shoes are encouraged to give them a sense of self worth and achievement.
At this age children become more aware of their place in the community. Children in this group, as well as the Red Robins, are required to wear the uniform giving them a sense of identity and belonging.
