Upon starting at Badger's Barn each child goes through the process of inductions. These are designed to enable both parents and child to become familiar with the team and the nursery. It is a chance for you and your child to meet with their new key worker and begin that partnership process. The key worker will work closely with your child to make sure that the best possible care and development is given.
At Badger's Barn we recognise and value the importance of parental involvement.
We encourage parents to take part in the observation process and discuss any concerns regarding care and development. Every child is provided with their own Learning Book; this is used as a personal diary recording your child’s day with us in the nursery. This book is designed to be brought between the home and nursery sessions.
We also hold regular charity events and fun days throughout the year to involve immediate and extended family. Annual parent’s evenings are also held to discuss your child’s development.
We have an open door policy and parents are welcome at anytime.
